Our Association continuously works to ensure that our members have up-to-date information about business development opportunities from both state and international programs. We build this bridge through trilateral cooperation.
Recently, we received a response to our inquiry from the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, specifically regarding state support programs for the development of alternative energy projects at gas stations.
Currently, the following initiatives are being implemented:
🔷 Financial support from the state decarbonization and energy efficiency transformation fund.
— These are measures and state target programs on energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources, and alternative fuels.
— Reimbursement, financial compensation, and reduced loan obligations for enterprises that implement energy services and develop alternative energy.
— Investment projects in the field of energy efficiency.
What about finances?
🟩 Preferential lending at 9% or 7% (the rate is reduced by 2% if more than 70% of the project’s cost includes equipment from national manufacturers) for individuals, entrepreneurs, legal entities, and local government bodies. Details can be found here: https://fdu.com.ua.
🟩 Loan discounts for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities under loan and leasing agreements concluded for the implementation of energy efficiency projects/measures. This applies to banks where more than 50% of shares are state-owned. The list of programs is still in development.
🔷 State program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%”.
A program for micro and small businesses. Loan funds can be used to purchase and install generating units that produce electricity from alternative sources, as well as energy storage systems. More information is available here: https://bdf.gov.ua.
