The Fuel and Energy Business Association (FEBA) has officially become a member of the National Platform for Small and Medium Business (National SME Platform) — a coalition of business associations that serves as a unified voice for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ukraine.
The National SME Platform focuses on consolidating the business community, advocating for economic reforms, and facilitating a constructive dialogue between the private sector and the government. It acts as a vital communication hub for organizations supporting entrepreneurship.
Notably, with the support of the UNDP in Ukraine and financial aid from the Government of Japan, the National SME Platform is currently implementing the “Business Association Development Academy.” This project empowers leaders of business associations with systematic tools to strengthen their organizations and amplify their role in the country’s economic recovery.

Joining the platform opens new avenues for FEBA to bolster its expert and advocacy work on behalf of fuel market participants. Membership allows the Association to:
- Strengthen Advocacy: Represent the interests of fuel-sector SMEs more effectively at the national level.
- Build Reform Coalitions: Join forces with other business associations to push for meaningful economic reforms.
- Develop Expert Analytics: Contribute to high-level expert positions and analysis regarding state economic policy.
- Expand Partnerships: Network with other business unions and leading think tanks.
- Access Educational Resources: Gain entry to expert programs, training initiatives, and comprehensive business climate research.
- Engage International Donors: Expand communication channels with global donors and MSME support programs.
For FEBA, joining the platform is a strategic move toward deeper collaboration with associations dedicated to improving the regulatory environment and shaping modern economic policy in Ukraine.
Consolidating business associations is the most effective way to defend the interests of entrepreneurs, provide professional recommendations for government policy, and foster a truly competitive and transparent market.
